Packing Services

Professional packing will ensure that your belongings will arrive safe and sound at your new home. Britannia Appleyards of East Yorkshire can offer three different packing options and we are happy to give you quotes on any of these or all three if you are undecided as to which service specification might suit you the most.

Full Pack Service

Britannia Hull can pack all your personal effects so you can relax more prior to the move. It is often necessary to pack prior to the removal day. Wardrobe Cartons are usually provided only for the duration of the move to transport any hanging clothing that you may have. This is a free service provided it is booked in advance. Our packers are fully trained and experienced and we use high quality packing materials, so that you can be sure that your belongings are in safe hands with us.

Part Packing Service

If you choose this option, then you agree to undertake the packing of all non-breakable personal effects. This will include items such as linen, clothing, books, tools, pans etc. Britannia Hull staff would pack the breakable and fragile items, which will include items such as china, glassware, pictures, mirrors, ornaments and lamps.

Packed By Owner

You can also decide to do all the packing for yourself. You can use your own cartons and/or purchase quality packing materials from Britannia Hull.

Unpacking

It is very important that you agree in writing to any unpacking services that you may wish to be carried out. Please note that unpacking is onto a flat surface and doesn't  include putting items back into cupboards etc.

Recycling

We at Britannia Hull are keen to recycle used packing materials and will sell these upon request subject to stocks being available.
