Maria Russell - Director

Maria is the Daughter of Mike and Sylvia Lane original founders of the Britannia Lanes Group. Maria was a financial director for various companies in the City of London before returning to join the Business 15 years ago. She is the area secretary for the local area of the British Association of Removers and is a keen Rugby fan. As a result the company helps sponsor Grass Roots Rugby with their sponsorship of Bridgwater and Albion Rugby Football Club www.barfc.co.uk.

Angus Russell - Business Development

I have spent the last 24 Years in the industry including 17 years at some of the other major moving companies in the UK. I joined Britannia Lanes in 2005 after meeting Maria at an industry conference a few years before. I am a keen rugby and snowboarding fan and when not at work enjoy spending time with my family.

Alan Reffell - Operations Manager & Trainer

I left the Army in 2010 after 23 years and spent the next year with Britannia Lanes as a driver. In 2011 I joined the company as the new Operations Manager and Trainer for the depot. In my spare time I enjoy playing Rugby and I am a qualified Massage therapist.

Kate Prosser - Office Administrator

My name is Kate Prosser, I have worked for Britannia Lanes Of Somerset & Bristol since 2007 as the Office Administrator. My main duties include being the first point of contact for clients in person, via the telephone and email. I am responsible for typing all quotes and correspondence to our clients and ensuring that everything is sent out on time. In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my partner, family and friends.

Andreas Johannsen - Surveyor

I joined the company in 2007 as a surveyor having spent time with a Local BAR member. My history is in retail management and my current role allows me to be the forward face of Britannia Lanes. My role is vital to the company and our clients as it is my job to assess our clients’ needs allay any fears that our clients may have and gain the relevant information for the crews to ensure a smooth move. When not at work I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and 2 children.
