David and Diane Trenchard own and operate Britannia Leatherbarrows together with their daughter, Sarah Vale. The Trenchard family has been directly involved in the Removals and Storage business in Hampshire and Dorset for 4 generations and have always strived to provide quality service. The business is large enough to have specialist management to deal with Business and Office Moving, Archives storage and Records Management, Self Storage as well as household removals locally, throughout the UK and by road to all countries in Europe and by sea containers to every destination in the World.
Darren Vale manages the self storage, archives and records management which keeps the activities well within family control.
A recent innovation is Self Store to Your Door which provides the latest mobile self store option of actually placing the containers outside the customers residence for loading/unloading at the lowest cost possible – this makes Britannia Self Storage just about the cheapest option that may be found anywhere.
Jenny Horner manages our deep sea moving contracts from the original inspection to arrival in the new home whilst Brian Harris provides back up support for her activities whilst being an acknowledged expert in the logistics of operating trucks on removals contracts throughout Europe.
Our senior sales executive is Robin Johnstone who with David Bigglestone and Tracey Park has an efficient team quoting work, advising and booking removals and storage work. Terry Rose is in charge of training whilst managing the vehicle fleet and dealing with the operational management alongside Richard Fisher.
Lewis Mills is our Commercial Moves Manager and deals with our Crate Rental Hire Service as well as advising and organising large and small commercial contracts.
Britannia Leatherbarrows have been at the forefront of improving the efficiency of the removal man by investing in staff training at all levels, latest packing materials, containerised storage and modern technology such as demount vehicles which enables customers to take advantage of the inexpensive ‘holdover’ option which removes the hassle, extra costs and time constraints associated with moving day itself.

Dear Sirs
I am writing to thank you very much for all your help and expertise during my move from France to Dorset at the beginning of last month.
Everything went very smoothly due to Mick and Mark, who were absolutely fantastic. They were so polite and helpful and Simon and I felt that nothing was too much trouble for them even though they must both have been very tired.
They were so careful with all our belongings and nothing was missing, broken or damaged in any way.
