Britannia Hull are able to offer 3 different options on packing and are happy to give you quotes on any of these or all three if you are undecided as to which service specification might suit you the most.
Packed By Owner
This is where you elect to do all the packing of your personal effects yourself. You can use your own cartons and / or purchase them from Britannia Hull. If you are taking advantage of own moving service then the surveyor will discuss providing an amount of cartons free with the move when he performs the survey.
Part Pack Service
If you choose this option then you agree to undertake the packing of all non-breakable personal effects. This will include items such as linen, clothing, books, tools, pans, tupperware etc. Britannia Hull staff would pack the breakable items, which will include items such as china, glassware, pictures, mirrors, ornaments and lamps.
Full Pack Service
Britannia Hull would pack all your personal effects and having checked previously that everything in the cupboards needs transfering to your new home with yourself, we will do all the packing so you can relax. Often it is necessary to pack prior to the removal day.Wardrobe Cartons - These are usually provided only for the duration of the move to transport any hanging clothing that you may have. This is a free service provided it is booked in advance. The cartons will come on the van on the day and are taken away upon delivery unless a deposit is paid of £5.00 per wardrobe carton.
Unpacking - It is very important that you agree in writing any unpacking services that you may wish to be carried out. Please note that unpacking is onto a flat surface and doesn't include putting items back into cupboards etc.
Recycling - We at Britannia Hull are keen to recycle used packing materials and will sell these upon request subject to stocks being available.
