Importing Personal Effects to ItalyUsed household and personal items can be imported to Italy duty free. New household items, and new furniture are dutiable, and electronic equipment require an import permit. As Italy is a full member of the EU, you will only need a passport to enter the country. An inventory and other customs forms are required to import your household effects and these will be provided by your local Britannia agent. |
