Britannia has also developed international partnerships with the premier moving companies across the world. That’s because Britannia would like to ensure that our customers receive the same high standards of service you will get from Britannia in the UK from our overseas partner.
Because of the quality of our overseas links Britannia can provide a ‘Door to Door’ service. If a ‘Door to Door’ service is requested we can arrange for your goods to be delivered to port, shipped and picked up from port and delivered right to your door. We can even arrange for customs clearance and help with completion of other necessary forms.
While our overseas partners may be on the other side of the world, we speak every day to check standards are met. We meet regularly to discuss ways that we can improve and update our service. This allows Britannia and our partners to keep step with changes in each Country’s rules for Customs clearance, charges and forms that need to be completed. It allows us to discuss new ways of applying technology to make things happen quicker and simplify procedures.
The further you are moving the more preparation is required and the more in advance you should start planning. Transit times vary greatly, depending on what part of the world you are moving to. In general shipment times are anything from 1 to 3 months; but if you have a particular timescale in mind please contact Britannia and we will give you advice on what methods are available to achieve your preferred dates.
For customers who do have a preference over how quickly they receive their goods, Britannia can arrange a shipment over a shorter timescale, or if you only have a small consignment or have an urgent shipment we can arrange an Air Freight transfer (click here to go to Air Freight section).
