He started in the removals industry in 1988 as a trainee manager with Pickfords in Greenock. From there he moved to Pickfords in Glasgow, ran the operation of 17 trucks as operations manager. He then worked for a smaller company called Mac Pack for a short time before returning to management for Pickfords in Stirling. He was then approached by Britannia to set up and run the Caledonian Glasgow branch. He’s been married for 20 years and he has two kids. He is a fan of rugby and golf.
Mike worked for 25 years at Pickfords.
