Britannia Lanes of Bristol is a family-owned removal company. We cover the whole of Bristol and the surrounding areas including Nailsea, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare and Dursley.

We offer a wide range of services including local removals, international moves, storage and packing, covering moves of all shapes and sizes. Whether you need a fully managed move across the world or just need to keep a few items in storage, Britannia Lanes of Bristol can help.

Beginnings

Lanes of Bristol was opened in 2010 and formed the 4th depot in the Lanes group. We have been working in the area since 2008, having taken over from a previous local member of Britannia Movers. From small beginnings, the Lanes group has expanded to several depots, with the Bristol branch now boasting a 4,000 sq ft storage area including caravan and boat storage.

Our team consists of five staff members who are all highly trained in removals. They will be on hand to guide you through every step of your move, whether you need everything packing up or just a strong pair of hands to help you load everything. Our fleet of three removal vehicles and six self-drive vans for hire complete the Lanes of Bristol business, offering a range of removal services.

Accreditations

Britannia Lanes of Bristol is a member of the British Association of Removers and in both 2011 and 2012, we were a finalist in the Association’s Domestic Mover of the Year competition. As a result, we have become a familiar and respected name in Bristol, known for offering a professional and reliable removal service.

We are also members of the Self Storage Association (SSA) and have been accredited by QSS for reaching both the European Standard for Removals BSEN 12522 and the European Standard for Storage BSEN 14873.

Britannia Lanes of Bristol manages removals across the world and all over the UK, but our specialist local knowledge makes us one of the most popular and reliable removal companies in Bristol. We represent Britannia across the South West and offer a training service covering a variety of skills. All parts of the industry from basic moving techniques and driver CPC, to export packing and emergency first aid at work are covered in our training.

We also work with the Carmel Centre in Brislington, offering storage and van hire, and count Snap-On tools and the Bath Priory Hotel as clients.
