Britannia Movers continue to monitor updates via the Government briefings and the BAR. It’s encouraging to see the drop in figures for people affected by the Coronavirus outbreak and our thoughts are with all those touched by the virus, whose lives and families have been impacted so deeply.
While we’re unable to carry out any non-essential removals, we are equipped to offer virtual surveys and quotations for our services via the Britannia app, or over the telephone for those not comfortable with video app technology. Most of our local offices have retained a reduced number of staff working remotely to assist with our customers’ needs during this difficult period. You can access our app via the app store for Apple devices and Google Play for Android devices. There are further details on how to contact your local office and set up the app later in this bulletin.
We are obviously waiting with bated breath for the review on Thursday 7th May and the PM’s business focused announcement scheduled for Sunday 10th May. If there are any loosening of restrictions that do permit Britannia resuming normal or partial services, we will update customers immediately via our website, email and social media channels.

You can then arrange a survey at a convenient time for you, although kindly note that due to the current Government guidelines Britannia are only able to provide video or telephone surveys. If you’re interested in a video survey, simply discuss this with your local office and download the app from the relevant store, depending on whether you have an Apple or Android phone.
