Following directives from the UK Government and our trade body the BAR (British Association of Removers) Britannia Movers removals, storage and shipping services have been suspended. As a conscientious business we are respecting the lockdown of services such as ours, on the basis we wish to safeguard our staff and customers against any potential risk. Britannia also wants to play our part in helping to reduce the spread of the virus.
While we appreciate the situation is enormously frustrating for those customers who were due to move in the coming weeks; we know our customers acknowledge the unique circumstances facing us all and that all responsible businesses were obliged to adopt these vital measures.
Britannia would like to reassure out customers that we continue to monitor the situation daily, while consulting between the Government and the BAR continues. It is our understanding that there will be a review by the Government in three weeks time and should there be any relaxation of the current restrictions we will regain contact with customers as soon as is practicably possible.
