UK Removals

Here at Britannia Goodwins we can shoulder the burden of your removal. Whether it be a small amount moving around the corner or a country Mansion moving to the furthermost outpost of the UK.

Packing Service

Some customers choose to do their own packing (we can supply all the packing materials you need). While some can’t bear the thought of living out of boxes for weeks on end & leave it to our trained, experienced & friendly staff. Britannia Goodwins can give you all the options to best suit your needs.

Insurance

Bespoke insurance is also offered to provide further peace of mind.

Storage

You can deliver items into us, we can collect them on your behalf. We are extremely proud of our new storage facility, click on the link for more details

International & European Moves

We can move single items or your whole home to any destination in Europe – or in the World!

Shredding

We’ll provide you with a shredding sack to fill and a security tag – we securely shred it for you and provide a certificate of destruction.

Really excellent experience with our team from Britannia Goodwins undertaking a complex move to the north of Scotland. Even a last minute postponement just before the lorries were due to be packed was handled with no hassle. The flexibility and personal approach during the ever changing completion date rearrangement was wonderful which really helped during an exceptionally stressful time. The crew of Adam, Jack, Gaz, Levi and Paul were excellent throughout our move. A very efficient day 1, packing up our kitchen and fragile items and loading the truck. Day 2 was the move itself and a start at unpacking. Early on day 3, the job was done. Particular thanks to Adam and Gaz, who travelled to our new home. Thanks also to Luke and Martin in Birmingham for their patience in agreeing on dates. Overall, a first-class service that we highly recommend.

Thank you very much for a great job. Moved from Stafford to Chester all in one day. Packed the vehicle just before lunch, arrived in Chester not long after us, and finished unloading by about 5pm. They did have a problem rebuilding the wooden bed frame, which held them up a while, but they were friendly even when things did not go to plan. Many thanks to John, Rob and Matt.

Moved from Seattle to Birmingham- Jack, Levi, and Rob were the awesome crew that pulled our household off a container in Southampton, carefully reviewed and documented its condition, and confidently ferried it on to our home. These guys were GREAT. Their professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency are top notch. Jack did an exceptional job of walking through the process, coordinating the team, and going over all paperwork at the conclusion of the job and expertly answered all questions I had. The guys hauled off all our box and packing material. I was really touched by Rob’s draping a Seattle Kraken banner prominently in our son’s room — he’s a big hockey fan and Rob took the casual mention of this to create a personal moment for my child. They’d arrived to our empty house and left it feeling like home! Top notch, highly recommended, we will definitely call on this crew again for our next move.

John & Aaron were superb in assisting me with moving house yesterday. They were very polite and professional and smiled the whole day long. Darren in the office was also really helpful when another removal company let me down at the last minute. John, Ian and Rob did a sterling job of removing my property from my old house and loading it on to the van and had completed by 12:30 ahead of the 1pm deadline. At the destination address the previous occupants had not moved out and John and his team showed exemplary patience waiting to deliver my furniture. The Britannia Goodwins guys were excellent! We had Antony, Adam, Paul, John, Rob and Ian pick up our 10 trade show display suites, along with all our accessories in an extremely careful and professional way. That were dropped back to our site on the dot the following morning and worked hard all day to reinstall them onto our showroom. Nothing I asked of them was too mush trouble, they brilliant! Start to finish everyone I have dealt with at Britannia has been amazing. Moving your entire life from one country to another is not an easy task but these guys have made it far less difficult than it might have been. John, Rob, Ian (and Paul and Alan on day one) did a fantastic job in taking everything out of my big old house and then fitting it all into my smaller new house, especially all the boxes of books to an upstairs study and my son's stuff to a second floor bedroom. The stairs were especially difficult for getting beds and wardrobes up, but they worked out how to do it in the end. They were all incredibly patient and good-humoured on a very hot and long June day. I can't thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend Goodwin's on the basis of these guys. They were also quite a lot cheaper than another firm who quoted, but I was happy to go with them from experience of using the firm when moving four years ago.

Have been dealing with Matt for the last 2 years, as we’ve waited for my Mum’s move to happen. Even now, we still don’t have a moving date, but hopefully soon……… He’s been so patient and thoughtful, throughout a number of false starts, and changed locations, not to mention being incredibly efficient. Our delayed attempt should’ve happened this week, so as I’d taken the time off to sort the move, I discussed the option of a pre-move, to get the items we’re putting in to storage out of the way, and to make productive use of the time. He sorted it for me without question, and worked out the bill, so we paid for just what’s taken place this week. The last two days have seen John and Ant working their socks off! Great fun to be around, and polite and respectful throughout, even if they did laugh when I got soaked by the water which had pooled on the garage door! It’s been a pleasure to have them around, and an even bigger pleasure to make sure they were fed and watered. It was the least we could do! Very impressed with this company. Couldn’t have asked for better! Here’s to moving part 2………

Chris, Rob and Paul were excellent when they delivered our belongings from storage. They were polite and very helpful, checking where everything should be put. It was amazing how they managed to get the furniture into the rooms we wanted. We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Britannia Goodwins and would highly recommend them.

We used Britannia Goodwins to move our mother to her new home. Jack, Paul, Ant, Adam, Gaz and Chris were friendly, helpful and very constructive at finding solutions when our original planning did not quite work out. They made really useful suggestions, including delivering over two days so that we could unpack a good few boxes after the first delivery. I've used various Britannia companies over the years and this move continues my excellent experience with them.

Paul, Alan and Chris moved us from near Dudley in the Midlands, all the way to North Cornwall and I cannot rate them highly enough. From start to finish they made the journey as easy as possible. They did everything they could to help and I am so incredibly glad we had them with us for this massive move. Anyone thinking of moving should go with them, branded trucks, uniformed DBS checked drivers and movers, all the equipment and kind, funny people. Thank you so much for getting us through this.
