Sandbach is a market town in Cheshire East, around six miles northeast of Crewe. The town has a rich history and strong community feel. One important historical feature of Sandbach is the Sandbach Crosses, two Saxon crosses built between the 7th and 9th centuries that are located in the cobbled market square. The Charter Market has been held for centuries and currently takes place every Thursday, with a regular market on Saturdays too.
Sandbach has plenty of activities on offer, with a golf course, leisure centre, and plenty of green spaces and parks. The town has a great variety of shops, with major retail brands and plenty of independent boutiques too. There is a choice of cosy, timbered pubs across the area and a diverse mix of cuisines in restaurants.
