Groupage shipping applies to a consignment which does not justify the exclusive use of its own container as it has a volume that’s ‘less than container load’, and therefore your goods can be ‘grouped’ together for transport in a single container.

However, a groupage or ‘shared load’ consignment can be more appealing if you are looking for a more economical method of shipping goods overseas, and are not in too much of a hurry to receive your possessions.
Groupage Shipping Method
If you are shipping just a few items or the contents of a one bedroomed flat (for example) then Britannia would consolidate your shipment with other compatible shipments at our central consolidation warehouse based in Merstham, Redhill, into 20 ft and 40 ft containers. Our professional well-trained warehouse staff are on hand to carefully load the goods in the container to ensure the container load is secure and comfortably stowed.

Groupage Destinations
Major destinations are served on a regular basis, so that you don’t have to wait too long for your belongings to be shipped to your destination country. All shipments are professionally export packed, barcoded and securely stored in our purpose-built facilities until the container is ready to depart for transportation to your destination country.
Groupage services are available to most major destinations worldwide with Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and South Africa being the most regularly served.
