Burnley Central is a one-platform station with hourly services to Colne (eastbound) and Blackpool via Preston (westbound). Burnley Barracks runs on the same line as Burnley Central is just 800 meters westbound. For this reason, services from Burnley Barracks also run to Colne, Blackpool, and Preston. Burnley Manchester Road also takes passengers to the aforementioned stations but also Manchester Victoria, Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan Wallgate.
