Britannia wins Best Removals Company at the 2024 What Mortgage Awards

The teams at Britannia Movers always work hard to deliver the very highest standards in removals and storage, and usually a thank you from our customers (and perhaps the odd cup of tea during a job) is reward enough. However, everyone loves a pat on the back, and so we were delighted to receive recognition in two different ways over the last few months.

Firstly, we were nominated by the public as a finalist in the Best Removal / Moving Support Firm category at the What Mortgage Awards 2024. The public voted for their favourite companies over a number of weeks, and at the awards event in London on 23^rd July, we were delighted to be announced as the winners!

The What Mortgage Awards are now in their 31^st year, and were created to celebrate excellence amongst a wide range of professionals who facilitate the home buying process in the UK. All of the awards are voted for by the readers of What Mortgage Magazine, so this is a fantastic endorsement of our customer service. Britannia’s Marketing & Communications Manager Charlotte Parslow was at the ceremony to accept the award, and commented “It’s wonderful to receive this formal recognition from our amazing customers, which is entirely due to the dedication, care and kindness of all our crew members, warehouse, and office staff across Britannia’s 40 UK Member branches.”

Britannia places in top 2% of FIDI’s international movers

As a high-quality international removals company, Britannia Movers hold a lot of group memberships and certifications. Consequently, we get audited on a regular basis to check that our systems and processes are robust and that we are consistently delivering excellent service to our customers. We’re always proud when we pass these inspections, but few have felt quite as good as our recent FIDI result.

FIDI is a global alliance of quality-certified international moving and relocation companies and sets the moving industry’s highest standards. In 2024, we have achieved ‘Top Performer’ status at our FIDI audit. This means that out of a possible 1475 points that were examined, we received a score of zero non-compliant values, in other words, a perfect score! This puts us in the top 2% of FIDI’s global membership, and makes us one of a very small handful of UK-based movers to achieve this accolade.
