Transport Links Tewkesbury
The M5 is situated just to the east of Tewkesbury and takes drivers down to Bristol and Exeter and north to Birmingham. The M5 also connects to the M4 just north of Bristol, allowing for access into South Wales and across the UK into London.
Tewkesbury does not have its own train station, however, Ashchurch for Tewkesbury railway station is just a couple of miles east of Tewkesbury. The station serves the North Gloucestershire and South Worcestershire areas.
Trains from the station head to the likes of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol and Westbury, with some services continuing on to Weymouth of Brighton. Between Monday and Friday there is also a single early morning through train between Worcester and London Paddington. Other services include Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Peterborough and Leicester via Stanstead Airport.
