Britannia Lanes of Somerset supporting Team GB

Ria and Angus Russell (owners of Britannia Lanes of Somerset & Bristol) were very proud to have met Charlie Attwood who visited them at their depot on the 17th July.

Britannia Lanes of Somerset are sponsoring swimming sensation Charlie Attwood through the Bridgwater College Elite athlete’s sponsorship scheme. Charlie has been granted one of Bridgwater College’s new sports scholarships, which will help him continue competing at a regional, national and international level. When Charlie is not competing in swimming competitions he is also studying a BTEC in Business.

He won a gold medal at the 2013 European Youth Olympic Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands and in the Glasgow Commonweath Games Charlie has won the 50m Breaststroke in the 16 years age group.

Britannia Lanes of Somerset is a family-owned removals company part of the Britannia Lanes group. Opened in 2000 it was the third depot to open in the Britannia Lanes group.
