Say hello to the new 12 ton

Britannia Sandersteads have recently taken delivery of their new Euro 6 @ 12 ton removal vehicle which is an upgraded replacement for their last Euro 4 @ 7.5 ton truck. The new 12 ton truck has the same size body at 1400ft3 / 3 container but Sandersteads now have a sensible payload and don’t need to worry about overloading. Stuart Almandras employed UVB to build the body, however opted for a Hatcher Super High cab that sleeps 2 people and also doubles as a crew cab. With a 2 pallet trailer this gives us good access not just in leafy Surrey but also around London where access is a frequent challenge.
