Where a company is relocating or recruiting staff and funds the employee’s home move, Britannia provides a fully managed residential removal service. This includes pre-move survey; professional packing or supply of packing materials; transportation of household contents; storage where required (e.g. where there’s a gap between the employee leaving one property and moving into another); and insurance cover.
Britannia’s Central Corporate Team acts as a single point of contact for the employer, handling instructions, operations, and invoicing centrally, with monthly reporting on volumes and service feedback.
- Incentivised home moves (e.g. retirement property developers)
Where a property developer or similar organisation funds a buyer’s move as part of a sales incentive (often the retirement property sector) Britannia can manage the removal on behalf of the developer. Services include the full residential removal package, with the commercial relationship held at corporate account level rather than with the individual mover.
- Business/office relocations
For the physical relocation of business premises, the package typically includes: pre-move survey and site visit; dedicated project management; professional packing and crate hire; transportation of office furniture, IT equipment, and specialist items; building protection at origin and destination; IT decommission and recommission; space planning and office fit-out support; document archiving and confidential shredding; furniture recycling and disposal; storage (short- and long-term); and insurance. Packages scale from small offices to large multi-site operations.
