About Pershore
Pershore is a market town located on the River Avon, six miles west of Evesham. The town boasts a lot of beautiful Georgian architecture, and it has been listed as an outstanding conservation area. It’s well known for Pershore Abbey, an Anglo-Saxon abbey that dates back to the 11th century and is now an Anglican parish church.
Pershore is also known for its rich plum production and as such, an annual Plum Festival is held every summer. Locals and visitors come together to celebrate all things plums, with a plum-themed art exhibition, crowning of the plum princess, and a family fun run. The town also holds a carnival every Spring, with a different theme every year. The carnival includes a procession through the town as well as stalls and other attractions.

Pershore is well served by an extensive bus network, with many stops around the town, including the town centre, the train station, and the High School. Bus services also connect the town further afield, with services to Evesham, Worcester, and Coventry.
