We moved from Manchester to a Scottish island. Looked like a nightmare … especially because of the amount of belongings we have and (my big anxiety) access for the removal firm at the other end due to single track roads and very tight bends.
Tony and Paul C were amazing when loading in Manchester … made maximum use of space … and we needed an extra truck trailer too. They were happy, friendly and reassuring when I was at my most stressed.
A few days later they (with my husband and I) after their 12 hour journey and overnight stop managed to unload everything in about 10 hours … in a day of rain, hail and 60mph winds.

Tony and Paul C were amazing when loading in Manchester … made maximum use of space … and we needed an extra truck trailer too. They were happy, friendly and reassuring when I was at my most stressed.

Britannia and all the guys were amazing. Nick H, Duncan, Mike O, Paul C, Paul A, Tony and Ellis. The removal and storage was done over two days. On completion day - we knew we were in a long chain. We got the keys at 5pm - and all the guys kicked into action and by 7.15 the move was complete. We picked the worst day of the year, the weather turned really nasty but all the guys worked really hard. They were professional, efficient, courteous and friendly. Do not hesitate to use their services if you are moving. Absolutely first class.
What can I say, Alistair and Mike G were incredible! Went above and beyond to help move my mum into her new apartment, she is visually impaired and they accommodated all of her needs with the upmost professionalism whilst also providing a laugh and calming her nerves. I’m so grateful for Alistair and Mike G nothing was too much of an ask and apologies next time I’ll get somewhere with a lift!

The team of Brian, Mike G, & Ste handled the removal in a professional manner and we were very pleased with the service provided. The team were friendly and took the stress out of what could have been a stressful day. We highly recommend this company.
Excellent service from Brian, Steve, Paul A and Ellis. Efficient and organised. They even dismantled our beds and put them back up in our new home. Sorted our shelves in our garage and placed everything on the shelves where needed in our new home. Britannia Bradshaw should be proud of their hard working ethic. I recently used Britannia Bradshaw Removals and storage. I cannot praise the crew enough. Tommy, Kemp and Macauley were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Very professional, friendly and pleasant. I would highly recommend this Company to anyone. They took care of everything for me. Thankyou team.
I chose Britannia because of Ernie, the guy who reviews everything ahead of providing a quote. Unlike the survey person from other companies I asked to quote, Ernie was not a salesman. He was an honest, competent guy who knew his job. Old school. I trusted him. And took the leap of faith that he represented the culture of, at least the local team, if not the whole organisation. That leap of faith was justified. Brian, Ste and Mike did a great job on the move. Very good at what they did, very helpful and generally just good people, like Ernie. Mid-priced in the 3 quotes I got, but totally happy with the decision I made. Would thoroughly recommend this team.

Duncan and Mike G were fantastic – lovely guys who made the move really smooth and stress-free. They were very respectful of our home, especially the carpets, and took great care with everything. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers.
I was really happy with the service from Britannia Bradshaw - the staff are really friendly and they all helped coordinate my move. The online walk through was very easy to sort out, the price they gave me was competitive, and they did really make the move much easier - especially with the use of the packing service.

I don’t often leave Google reviews but wanted to put my thanks on record for the fantastic team who helped us move house recently. After a stressful days before the move it was so reassuring to be in safe hands. George, Ben and Nick were professional, friendly and efficient. Sam in the office explained everything very clearly and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. We were really pleased with the service provided and would not hesitate to use Britannia Bradshaw for any future moves.
Nick, Duncan and Dave did an amazing job helping us move. They were prompt, professional and patient with us. Everything was done with care. Lynn was also brilliant in the office talking us through the process and answering our many questions. I’d have no hesitation in using Britannia Bradshaw again and recommending them to others.

I contacted Britannia Bradshaw Manchester a few days ago for a quotation for my upcoming house move. I initially spoke to Lynne who came across as being polite, friendly, professional, and generally an all round nice person. Lynne arranged for Ernie to contact me the following morning at 8:30am so that I could do a walk-round video call to see what I was taking. Ernie contacted at 8:30am on the dot. Ernie was just as professional as Lynne and came across as being an all round top fella. When the video call was drawing to a close, Ernie advised me that he would get straight on with the quote and that he would email it. Sure enough, within 15 minutes I received a full breakdown of what would be involved with the move and lots of options and packages were available for me to choose from.
During the last few days I have received quotes from around a dozen different companies. Britannia were by no means the cheapest but after my experience with them so far, they were the only ones who filled me with the confidence that everything would run smoothly from start to finish.
Today, I spoke to Sam, again another professional, friendly and all round nice person and I booked my removal with them. It seems to me that Britannia only employ the absolute best there is, so I don't have any worries about the upcoming actual moving day.

Our entire experience with Britannia Bradshaw Manchester has been excellent. The partial apartment move job was assessed by Ernie who provided the quotation. We thought our move was complicated by a large Swiss Cheese plant, however, Ernie reassured us that it was not a problem, even if it had to be carried down the stairs (we are on fifth floor). The multitude of other house plants, and 80 kg subwoofer, presented no problem either. The other items, mainly vinyl records and CDs were packed by myself.
On the day of the move itself Greg led the team (Brian, Ste, Mike G and Alistair). I was reassured by Lynne that Greg has a lot of experience of Manchester city centre moves - she was not wrong - a loading space was found with no fuss and the team arrived bang on time. They worked with great efficiency and cleared the flat of all material to be moved in just over an hour. The cheese plant was carefully wrapped in a mattress bag - in the end it did actually fit in the lift!
I got the train to the our newly restored house in the East Midlands - the van beat me by about 30 minutes - my partner was at the house to enable access - the unloading also took about an hour. The team worked incredibly effortlessly and were very professional and pleasant. The cheese plant was carefully restrained in the van and arrived safe and sound as a result. All the other material also arrived safely.
In conclusion, I have no hesitation in recommending Britannia Bradshaw for your move.

Nick, Duncan, Ellis and George completed our move and it was seamless. I was concerned about the amount of stuff we had and being finished in time but these guys came in, and worked hard in 26 degrees of sunshine clearing a 4 storey house and finished on time. They moved us into the new house just as quickly. Above all of that, the 4 of them were lovely , funny and made the experience a great one. I could not recommend them highly enough. If their boss reads this, these 4 guys need a bonus!

Exceptional move on 22nd April from the guys at Britannia Bradshaw (Nick, Brandon, Tom, Mike P and Brian). They packed a 5 bedroom room house, the loft and garage over 1.5 days and then unloaded at the other end in 2 hours. Due to timeline I used their packing service and I can thoroughly recommend it.

We had Simon, Steve and Pete move us over the last couple of days and they have been nothing but amazing. Such lovely guys and took great care with all the furniture and made sure everything was delivered in perfect condition and also took our other belongings into storage. My insurance appointed Britannia to move our belongings to temporary accommodation after our house flooded. Couldn't fault the service we received from them. Very professional on the phone and on the day Simon and Greg were both friendly, helpful and hard working, making a stressful time much easier.
I had excellent service from Britannia from start to finish. I was moving some distance and I was very impressed at the survey when it was suggested that doing a partial load the day before and securing my property overnight was an option. No other company I had quotes from offered me this service.

If I could give the guys more stars I would, George, Alistair, Ellis and Paul could not have done more to make our house move go without any issue. Nothing was too much, they were friendly and we are so grateful that they managed to get us moved in the minus temperatures and snow.
They arrived on time and worked so hard all day to get us moved, even when we asked for something to be moved after they’d already placed it where we thought we wanted it, they were so positive and did it without a complaint.

Wow! The service we had from this company was first class from start to finish. We were moving my very elderly parents to an assisted living apartment near to us. It was potentially an extremely stressful situation but every member of staff at Britannia Bradshaw made the move very smooth. Whilst other professionals caused me stress, Britannia Bradshaw staff were all a beacon of calm and reassurance throughout.

I can’t speak highly enough of Tony, Mike G and Mike P, who have recently helped us to move. They were highly organised, efficient and above all - always willing to go that extra mile to accommodate our needs. They were great with my son- who was so eager to help unload things off the van. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again if we ever decided to move.
We used Britannia Bradshaw for our recent move and we would highly recommend the guys. They were all great. Polite, friendly and very efficient. Everything ran smoothly and it really took the stress out of the move for us. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they were not able to come and do the day before pack-up over the weekend. And because we moved on a Monday it meant that the ‘day before’ pack-up took place on the Friday. So we had the weekend with a half empty house which wasn’t ideal with kids. So if you’re moving on a Monday bear that in mind. Otherwise these guys are great.

So we had the pleasure of George, Andy and Dave on 23/24 October 2024 to move us out of our house in Macclesfield.
They arrived promptly and explained what the plan was with regard to packing up the containers which would hold and house contents in storage for as long as would be required.
I’d kept a brew kit ready and a supply of biscuits for the 3 guys which they appreciated, however they did not stop for long either when drinking mugs of tea or eating lunch.
They worked incredibly hard for the whole day and were professional, friendly and courteous towards us. They checked any items which were left loose/without details of which room they were to be placed in when we move in.
George and Andy returned on day 2 and again were jovial and hardworking. All the paperwork was explained when they had completed the packing of the house and we all discussed the moving in day and what that would involve - vans/team/timings etc.
Having not moved for 20 years, the moving out was a slick and simple process. Pressure levels decreased for my husband and I due to the outstanding service provided by the Team, so we will be forever thankful for that.
We look forward to seeing the Team again in a few days time to move us into our forever dream home in Nantwich and have the knowledge that they will be as slick and professional as they were moving us out.

Britannia was contracted by the Government of Canada to carry out the UK portion of the movement of my Furniture and Effects for an Overseas move from Wales to Canada. Nick, Mike P and Ellis were the gentlemen to attended the Pack and Load in North Wales. They were on time, efficient and respected the property.

Brian, Steven, James, George and Ellis moved us and they were worth their weight in gold, they made the day as stress-free as possible, they’re all really good guys who were a pleasure to work with. They dealt with any difficult situations (difficult access etc) really well and problem-solved brilliantly. They worked all day in very hot weather with no complaints. All of our belongings were well looked after, nothing was damaged and they were careful in the houses. I would recommend this company and these guys unreservedly and would go straight back to them if I need a removals service again
Wow. What can I say about these lads? Absolutely superb. Arrived when they said they would and super efficient. They set to work and nothing was too much trouble. TV wall brackets taken down and refitted. Beds dismantled and rebuilt. Huge thanks to Simon and Pete who moved me into my new build just before Christmas. The building site was awash with liquid mud so how they managed to move all my furniture and belongings into my new home without any mishaps or marks on the new cream carpets is quite remarkable!

We moved from Salford on 16th December and the process could not have been smoother. The two guys who did our move (sorry, didn't make a note of their names) were efficient, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they arrived on time. Our furniture then went into storage for two months and was delivered to our new home on 6th February by Simon & Dave. Again two absolutely love guys who know their job and were vry friendly and helpful. They had all our furniture inside within 2 hours, despite the heavy rain. Tony, Paul and Nick helped us move from South Manchester to Kent. The three of them along with a couple of colleagues packed our belongings up for us and then Tony and Paul drove the vans South. In Kent they were assisted by colleagues from a local branch to unload us. The packing was first class and the vans were loaded with great care to minimise the risk of breakage. All of the team were very friendly and helpful with the can do attitude you need with such a big move. Even the biggest challenges were met with good humour. A big thank you to them.

Pete, Simon, Nick, Dave and Mike moved our son’s furniture in readiness for it to be shipped to America. They were all so friendly, professional and efficient. It was a big job but they did it with ease and no fuss. They were also very respectful of the furniture, as well as our house. David, Mike and Sonic were punctual, professional and polite. They quickly grasped what we needed taken and just got on to pack it all up in less than an hour. Absolutely brilliant service! Nick, Ryan and Dave were friendly, speedy and packed every item perfectly. Worth every penny we spent on the service, you made our house move so much less stressful then it could have been.
Mike and Nick were on time, professional, friendly and quick with their work packing me up in the morning. Kept in contact throughout the day as my completion dragged on a little but were ready to go at a few minutes notice and equally quick with moving me in. BB are not an inexpensive moving service but you get what you pay for, and they made the move easy and stress free.
We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of the service received. The initial quote was very professional, I could always get straight through to the team when required on the phone and likewise everything was confirmed in writing. The actual move out and move in was overseen by Dave and Ryan who were outstanding. Friendly, accommodating, flexible, hard working and thorough, I can not praise them highly enough. I also stored my items with BB for three months and everything came back undamaged. I recommend with 100% conviction, a really great company.

The service from this company is very professional and friendly, which made me a very satisfied experience. I contacted Martin for a quotation in November. He has been very kind and professional to estimate the size of my house and travel to every corner of my house. Until yesterday, December 16th was a big day for me to move. Spencer's team, including Paul and Fabio, moved very quickly. They arrived at my house at 8:30 in the morning. I had to move as many things as warehouses, cardboard boxes and storage bag. There are at least more than 80 bags, and there are many large electrical appliances and furniture .Their team is very professional. It took 2 hours to move the whole house supplies to the big truck. They set off from Birmingham and arrived at my new house in Preston at around 2:30 pm. Their perseverance and strength opened my eyes. They are very strong. My new house is a 3-storey house, and they can also move the furniture I use to the 3rd floor. I am very grateful that they were able to work quickly and make sure that the things I moved were intact despite the low temperature yesterday.

Very impressed with the level of service I received recently for our move. Both Pete and Ryan loaded and unloaded our belongings in a very professional manner. Friendly and attentive and throughout the whole move I was genuinely happy with the attention to detail. 4 hours to load and unload the contents of a 4 bed house. No damage what so ever to any of our belongings and very quick but careful with the unloading. The carpets were both very well protected at bother properties and they even cleaned up and took away all the rubbish and the van they used was absolutely spotless. We used them to leave Oakham, have furniture stored, and then move to Bayford. Lynn and Mark were wonderful,calming and supportive throughout. On moving out Craig,Aaron,Kemp and Luke were very friendly and incredibly efficient...nothing was too much trouble including a large dining table and a piano. They were on the lookout for ways to relieve any stress. Equally on moving in Craig,Josh and Izaak were superb. The new house is much smaller but they were very patient with us while deciding where to put things....would rearrange items if need be.......they made a stressful situation quite relaxing and enjoyable. Brittania Bradshaw made our (complex) move as stress-free as it's possible to be from Manchester, into storage and then onwards to Northern Ireland. From providing quotes, to updating quotes (when our plans changed), to organising and then actually carrying out our removal into storage (we had to move our stuff into storage for 3 months whilst waiting for our new house in Northern Ireland to be ready) and then onward delivery out of storage after that they did everything professionally and with a smile and were completely reassuring from start to finish. We suffered no damage to any of our stuff or either of our houses, and could just leave the guys to it (both teams were fantastic) and get on with all the other things that needed sorting as part of the move. Cannot recommend them highly enough and would definitely use them again (although we insist we're never moving house again)!
Greg, Alistair, Brian and Ben were a fantastic team who helped us move on two of the hottest days of the summer. We used Britannia Bradshaw to move us from Manchester to Atlanta GA. From the start of the process they were helpful, professional and I couldn't ask for more. We got help and support form Keeley with small amount of documentation we had to do, they take care of the rest. On Packing day Paul and Tom where fantastic, very considerate, professional and double checked everything. Loading day they were joined by Martin and that's was just as smooth as well, and they even sorted the container driver out when he had an issue. Great experience would highly recommend and competitive too!
