This was our 11th house move over 52yrs of marriage the last 3 were with lanes of devon / Britannia so it went without saying that this move will again be with Britannia ,making it the 4th time we have used them ...... reason a very good and professional service from all department's , informative, good on price, and we was very confident in britannia getting the job done and meeting all our requirements .the team of men over the 3 day move were exceptional , polite ,& extremely hard working & we couldn't have wished for more , special thanks to Mikey, Dave and the rest of the team. Moving is always traumatic but the guys from Britannia Lanes were brilliant. Special mention for Mike and James who moved us from Devon to Derbyshire. Not forgetting Leighton and Josh who helped with loading . Superb service.

We used Britannia Lanes to help move my Mum from her home of 47 years to new accommodation and I have to say that the service was excellent. Hayden and Leighton were the two chaps assigned to us and they were super quick and efficient. They were also incredibly strong moving whole filing cabinets without even removing the drawers and everything done with care and precision. This all coupled with a friendly and helpful approach. Couldn't fault them.

Confidence in them from the beginning.. Very very professional. Went very smoothly. Very impressed with the 2 lovely guys that did all the hard work.Constantly making h it easy for us. Can't believe how hard they worked,not really having a break. Nothing too much trouble. Helpful,kind and friendly.

I can’t rate Britannia Lanes Removals highly enough. From the initial contact to the last item placed into our new home, the staff were polite, efficient and careful with all our possessions. I’d recommend them to everyone that required a removal service.

The removal of furniture and all other items did not go as smoothly as I’d hoped.. the two men that arrived with the lorry constantly grumbled about the job and my son helped a great deal as we needed everything to get loaded so we could begin the long drive from Somerset to Norfolk.. it took them four and a half hours to pack everything and by the end the older man was moaning that he needed to have his lunch and was swearing to that effect.. not very professional. The next day when they delivered it was a completely different story.. they were helpful and careful..they put all the garden machinery etc very thoughtfully in the shed and asked exactly where I wanted my furniture, offering alternative ideas for the best use of space.. The lorry was unpacked and everything in the house and shed in two hours flat . In the end I was very happy with the service I received from Britannia Lanes Removal service with reservations relating to the moaning and swearing on a very stressful moving day. It was not the moving experience I was promised but all ended well.

Thank you so sincerely for your management of my move and for being so kind and responsive with my dad and I - everyone at Britannia has made one of the hardest periods I've had much smoother and easier. Leighton, Mike and Jimmy were all wonderful and so careful with all my treasures and kept us laughing all the way through the process. I know they probably didn't know what was going on under the surface, but they were kind, gentle and tactful with me and kept my spirits up over two very tough days. Truly class acts, the lot of them. Andy and Lynn in the office were also fantastic. Helpful, patient and answered all our questions, even the ridiculous or repetitive ones. Andreas, who did the survey prior to the move was also lovely and I can't recommend doing the survey enough. There were no nasty surprises and it was very quick and easy.

A professional outfit from start to finish. Good advice from the estimater and staff in the office. Our move from Newton Abbot Devon to Ramsgate, Kent. Callum and his mate loaded us up on Monday and the lorry was waiting at our new home at 9.30 the next morning. Callum again did above and beyond to make the move easy. Good communication all the way through and a first class service...

Hayden and Adey arrived promptly in Buckinghamshire to load up all our belongings. They were careful, quick and very easy to get on with. Unloading in Devon was just as smooth. With extra help from Jimmy, the three of them unloaded carefully, quickly and with a great sense of humour. We would definitely recommend Brittania Lanes as every part of the move from the initial enquiry through to the final move was handled professionally and with care. Thank you!

I was very anxious about the moving of some very old and fragile furniture but was truly amazed by the skill, care and kindness shown to me by Jim, Harvey and Jimmy. They were an absolute delight to have in my life for those 2 days. I could not believe their immense physical strength, their patience , constant good humour and genuine skill and kindness of heart. Jim patiently moved furniture including a grandfather clock around in countless positions until i was happy. At one point Harvey sauntered past me with a Bosch dishwasher balanced on one shoulder!!! He laughed because I had labelled some boxes as heavy whilst they seemed as light as feathers to him. I accidentally tripped on the driveway but Jimmy quickly caught me, stopping me from face planting the tarmac and saving me from a potentially very nasty fall. When we finally said goodbye on the 2nd day of a 2 day move I honestly felt bereft , as if I was saying good bye to 3 of my closest and supportive friends. I have moved house about 10 times in the last 20 years but I have never ever encountered such wonderful removals men as these three. I would trust them with my life! Even though I will not be moving house again , they will always be welcome here!

The team on the ground were excellent. A complex move made easy by a thoughtful and careful team of packers and movers. I would use them again for any future move.

The removal guys were happy to accommodate whatever was required to get our furniture safely into each room and were careful and respectful of both our furnishings and the property. Britannia Lanes were amazing for our move. The lads worked so hard packing up our old house, loading and then unloading. Everything was treated with care and they worked so hard to get the job done. We couldn’t believe how hard they worked. I would completely recommend.

Great customer service from start to finish. Used them 25 years ago and they're still as good today ! Office team were great accomodating our ever changing needs and on the day the removals team were fantastic, even though there were delays due to solicitors. Highly recommended.
