Keynsham House Removals

Keynsham is a historic market town in Somerset, nestled between Bristol and Bath. Surrounding the small but bustling town are pastures and woodland that have been inhabited since early times. Both the Romans and the Saxons called Keynsham home, with the Romans building grand villas in the area. Keynsham Abbey was founded by Augustinian monks in 1166, which helped Keynsham evolve into a popular market town. However, the abbey was left neglected after Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries in 1539.

In modern times, the town used to be home to a Cadburys chocolate factory. Sadly, however, it was closed in 2011 and the land was sold to developers.
