Arundel Castle dominates the town and is undoubtedly the highlight for visitors and tourists. Arundel Wetland Centre is another popular day out for all the family. Visitors can walk the reserve, take part in pond dipping, and even go on a boat safari to witness creatures great and small, from otters to mandarin ducks.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a salvage hunter, roaming the streets and alleys of Arundel will take you to numerous vintage and antique shops. Everything under the sun can be found in these Aladdin’s caves and it can be great fun trawling through all the goodies.

Arundel Transport Links

There are a number of local and regional buses serving Arundel, with many of them utilising the A27 which runs from Havant in the west, along to Pevensey in the east. The coast at Littlehampton is just a 15-minute drive, Chichester is 21 minutes away, and Brighton is 45 minutes.

Arundel has its own railway station, with four trains per hour Monday to Saturday. Two services run to London Victoria (1 hour 24 minutes) and two to Bognor Regis (17 minutes). On Sundays, services are reduced to one train in each direction per hour.
