Moving to Jarrow
Jarrow is a town in South Tyneside, located on the bank of the river Tyne. It developed as a mining industrial town during the 19th century and is now a vibrant town. It has a number of leisure amenities, including an indoor skate park, gym, sports hall, theatre and library.

Jarrow has three Tyne and Wear Metro stations, one in the centre of town, one in the Bede industrial estate and one at Fellgate. Services run to South Shields, Newcastle, Northumberland Park, Whitley Bay, and Gateshead, as well as other stations across the area.
Jarrow is close to the A1(M), which connects the town to other areas in the country. Driving from Jarrow to Newcastle takes around 20 minutes. Driving to South Shields takes around 15 minutes and to Sunderland takes around 20 minutes.
The nearest airport is Newcastle Airport. It can be reached on the Metro, with journeys taking around 45 minutes, or 25 minutes by road.
